Grooveshark, no doubt is my favorite spot to listen to free music. I love the interface and it loads up songs pretty quickly. At times, the online streaming doesn’t help and you need the song on your HDD/phone/music-player. That’s when you look around for a link to download the song.
We strongly discourage music piracy and recommend that you purchase songs to encourage music industry and the music artists
So, here’s how you can download and save songs from Grooveshark. A pretty slick software called GrooveDown will help you do so.
Steps
- You can download the software from here.
- Start open the installer
- You can go ahead with the Typical Settings, or select Custom Settings if you wish not to have a new default home and search page
- Run through the installation process
- Open the software and search for a song of your choice
- If present in Grooveshark database, the song will be listed underneath
- Hover over it and click on the + icon. This will add the song to the download queue.
- Click on the ‘Download List’ to view the download progress of the selected song(s).
